Green tea is one of the most popular tea which is known to have many health benefits. It helps in removing toxins from the body and is also a zero calorie drink. Green tea helps in weight loss, and it’s said that you should have two cups of green tea every day to see the changes in your body. Here are a few green tea recipes which you can try in winters.

Lemon Ginger– Boil water and once done switch off the flame. Add 1 tbsp of your favorite green tea and some crushed ginger. Now cover the pan with the lid. Let the leaves steep for 5 minutes and strain. You can add honey and lemon to add more flavor to this recipe.

Masala Flavor– This one is a masala chai version of green tea. Use spices like cardamom, cinammon, ginger, cloves, basically whatever you like for a cup of masala tea. Take water in a pan and put all the spices in it. Boil and switch off. Add green tea and leave it for 5 minutes. Strain in a cup and add honey or sugar.

Citrus and mint tea– Oranges are available in abundance in winters. You can steep mint leaves and green tea in water. Once done strain the tea in a cup and add orange juice for a nice aromatic fruity flavor. Don’t forget to add honey for a sweet and tangy flavor.
