Tips And Tricks To Follow To Achieve Healthy Glowing Skin In Summers

Routine skin care regime is a must in every season, but when it comes to summers you need to be extra cautious of what you do and what you eat in order to maintain healthy glowing skin. Here are a few tips to follow in summers…..

Protect from sunlight– Protection from sunlight is a must in every season as harmful sunrays trigger ageing and fine lines in skin. Use a good quality sunscreen before stepping out of house and follow this regime rigorously. Also don’t forget to carry an umbrella wherever you go.

Get rid of clogged pores– Summer time is all about sweat, humidity, dirt and pollution. So you really need to take extra care of your skin as clogged pores can lead to various skin problems like acne and other infections. Wash your face thoroughly twice a day with a mild face wash, and use a mild cleanser for the bedtime beauty regime.

Give makeup a rest– You can also think of getting rid of the heavy makeup during this season. The idea is to keep the skin clean and let it breathe naturally to help reduce any skin breakouts. Whereas a heavy makeup will unnecessarily block the pores, making it difficult for your skin to breathe and survive.

Use a light moisturizer– Its best to skip heavy creams and switch to light weight lotions instead during summertime. Heavy cream will only make your skin go more oily and sweaty and more acne prone, which is not at all recommended to achieve a healthy skin during this season.

Scrubbing– Since the skin tends to sweat a lot, therefore its recommended to scrub off the dead skin and the pollution dust once a week. Don’t use a harsh scrub or you can also switch on to home made scrubs to be safe.

Stay hydrated– The body needs more and more water in summers and so its best to carry your own water bottle every time you step out of the house. This way you won’t be left thirsty and drinking water will also keep your skin hydrated and glowing. Dry skin products store can offer you suitable products.

Cut down on soda– Soda anytime is a big no for good health, but if you do consume then cut down on it during summertime as it will only have an adverse effect on your skin as it will interfere with your digestive system.

Eat light food– Skip fried, oily and other heavy stuff which are difficult to digest. The body becomes slow during summers and its necessary to keep it hydrated by having a lot of fluids and fruit juices and avoid anything fried or anything which takes time to digest.

Take lots of natural Vitamin C– Do consume seasonal local fruits, especially the citrus ones as they will help the skin retain its glow and elasticity.

And remember if you eat right then it will definitely show in your skin and body and vice versa.
