4 Energy Drinks To Keep You Hydrated During Navratri Fasting

Happy Navratri to all….

To all those who are fasting do take good care of yourself. Eat healthy and keep yourself hydrated. Here are these four different drink recipes which will help you to feel full for longer so that you don’t get hunger cramps, and will also keep you hydrated.

Mango shake– Mangoes are easily available in this season. And what can be best to beat the heat than to serve something cool and healthy at the same time. For this pick sweet mangoes, peel and chop them and put them in blender. Add milk, cardamon powder, and sugar to taste and blend everything finely. Pour the shake in a glass and add finely chopped cashew and a few raisins on the top. You can also garnish it with desiccated coconut for enhanced flavor.

Mint Nimboo pani– This delicious drink will surely keep you hydrated and will also add up to your energy level during fasting. In a glass squeeze in the juice of a lemon and add seendha namak, jeera powder, sugar and a few crushed mint leaves to taste. Now fill the glass with cold water and mix everything nicely.

Watermelon Pineapple juice– This is another hydrating drink which will help the body to remove toxins. Fill a glass 1/3rd with pineapple juice and add crushed ice on the top. Now fill the glass with watermelon juice and add few lemon slices and mint leaves to it. You can add a bit of crushed ice at the top and garnish with lemon wedge on the side.

Lassi– You can have salted or sweet lassi while fasting. If you are avoiding salt then go for fruit based lassi recipes and you will get the double benefit of yogurt and the fruit. Some very popular lassi recipes are mango lassi, dry fruit lassi, banana lassi nd many more.
