4 Toxin Free DIY Stuff Which You Can Create For Your Child’s Play Time

Does your child loves playing with dough and other play stuff like sand and slime and many more. Well there is hardly any child who doesn’t love all this. But the ones available in the market are mostly full of chemicals and toxins. And though there are some new brands who promise to be toxin free but are expensive to use every time. So here are a few recipes or ways to create some real fun and toxin free things for your child’s play time……

Play dough– You can take flour as a base to create safe play dough for your child. Take 1 cup flour and 1/4th cup salt in a bowl and mix them. Now add1/2 cup boiling hot water and 2tbsp oil and knead until it becomes like a play dough. You can add food colors while preparing the dough to create colorful play dough. Remember to store these in airtight containers or else they will dry up fast.

Finger paint– In a pan take 3tbsp sugar, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2cup corn starch and 2 cup water. Simmer this on low flame until the mixture thickens a bit and transfer it into jars. Add different colors to different jars and let your children use it for creating different hand print paintings.

Moon sand– Take flour and brown sugar in 1:1 ratio and mix in a bowl. Now add some coconut or baby oil and mix nicely until the texture feels crumbly just like sand.

Slime– Slime without activator or borax is just a dream isn’t it. Well we say no. Generally you can make slime with school glue as a base but this recipe uses flour.

Take 2 cup flour and 1 cup water. Add a few drops of your favorite color and mix, knead and stretch everything nicely until a smooth but sticky dough is ready. Now add some oil and cover this mixture for 2 hours. You will get a super stretchy and sticky result just like slime.
