Karan Johar is officially a father now to twins named Roohi and Yash through surrogacy. The twins who were born prematurely on February 7, had to stay in the hospital for over 50 days in the NICU before coming home. But before to that Karan made sure that he had a special nursery designed for his kids, and guess who has designed the same for him, well it’s none other than his famous interior designer friend Gauri Khan, wife of Shah Rukh Khan.
Done all in white, Karan shared a picture of nursery on twitter saying “My baby nursery designed by @gaurikhan with so much love and care….its my paradise!!! Love you gauri….”. Another picture which he shared said like this “The detailing of the baby nursery….designed with love and care by @gaurikhan.” The room done in ivory color has wooden flooring and furniture in the same ivory color with interesting baby doodles all over.
He has also made sure that the nursery has music playing around and the reason behind the same goes like this “When I made a nursery for my kids, I made sure that I have music playing in that room all the time. Some people told me that there were Coldplay versions of nursery rhymes, but I definitely didn’t want that for them. I want them to learn and grow to the music that I grew up with because they are my children, and they have to love the music I love because they have to love me.”
Well Gauri Khan had recently done the interiors for Ranbir Kapoor’s new house, which got a lot of praises. In fact Ranbir took it to social networking site and thanked her personally for designing his dream house so beautifully.
