Cucumber Face wash– First make sure you use a castile soap which is very mild on skin, or you can use a small quantity of baby soap to produce lather. In a bowl add fresh cucumber juice along with strained and cooled green tea and honey. Mix everything well and use a spray bottle to store it.
Cucumber Basil tea tree toner– Tea tree oil on the other hand helps in making your skin acne free and is therefore a good option for an oily and acne prone skin. It is also an excellent toner. You can avoid adding tea tree oil if you have dry skin. Basil definitely has amazing anti ageing properties and rose water is an excellent toner.
Take half cucumber and a few basil leaves and put them in a grinder. once it turns into a smooth paste, strain the water through a fine strainer. Add tea tree oil and rose water to this mixture and mix well. Store this mix in a spray bottle in fridge for upto a week.
Cucumber cream– Sieve out fresh cucumber juice by grinding it in mixer and strain this juice in a wide mouth bowl. Add aloe vera gel, coconut oil or shea butter and mix all the ingredients with a whisker. Once you get a creamy foamy consistency, add a few drops of essential oil of your choice. Whisk one more time and store it in a sterilized glass bottle.
Cucumber eye cream– Take aloe vera gel and cucumber juice in a bowl and mix nicely. Now add few drops of almond oil and Vitamin E oil and mix nicely. You can also whisk everything together for a smooth texture.
Note: While using natural ingredients for beauty products make sure you keep the products in fridge to increase their shelf life. Also use a sterilized bottle to store these homemade beauty products.
