Nakshi Work Jewellery
It involves traditional embossing and hand carving. Whether it is gold or silver, the final piece is based on carving, engraving, and filing. Peacocks, deities, and architecture are a part of the nakshi designs.

Palakka Jewellery
It is a distinct style of jewellery which originated in Kerala. The design is based on the shape of Pala leaves. There will be settings made from green stones, like emerald, and green tinted glass. Brass goes into the base, with a plating of matte gold.
Nizami Jewellery
Coming from Hyderabad, where the Nizams ruled, these jewellery pieces are crafted in silver and have a Victorian gold polishing. You will find ample use of uncut diamond polkis, zircons, and rubies in the pieces. Freshwater pearls are also common. These come in cascading designs.

Bidri Jewellery
This is another popular style South Indian jewellery, which originated in Karnataka. It consists of silver inlays in matte black metal alloys of zinc and copper. Persian and floral designs are hand carved into the metal.
