It’s not everyday that we see male models endorsing cosmetic brands. But creativity knows no boundaries and looks like the famous cosmetic brand Maybelline has invested in the right direction and on the right person.
Maybelline is following the footsteps of the famous fashion magazine Covergirl, which introduced James Charles, a makeup artist and social media celebrity as its first ever male face in October. Likewise, Maybelline has signed the famous beauty blogger Manny Gutierrez for its new mascara campaign. The 25 year old blogger is so popular that he has 3 million followers on Instagram, and 2 million subscribers on YouTube and that too in a short period of two and a half years. Videos of his makeup tutorials are already a hit online. He currently stars in the brand’s “That Boss Life” campaign, which promotes the “Big Shot Mascara” along with Shayla Mitchell, another Instagram celebrity and Jackie Flowers, who joined the campaign by winning a sweepstakes.
Well the boy has an amazing personality and has got polished looks. He says that as a child he would watch his mom get ready for work and just sit there for hours watching her transform. It was much later that he really started to dabble in makeup himself. He also took to Instagram by express his joy quoting……
“Honestly I couldn’t be more honored [or] thrilled!, Thank you to Maybelline for taking a chance on me!”
