Shah Rukh Khan And Wife Gauri Khan Turn Their Four storey Office Space Into Quarantine Center

With help from NGO Meer Foundation and under the guidance of BMC (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation), Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri has successfully turned their four storey office space into quarantine center. The 22 bed quarantine center is essentially for women, elderly and children fighting the disease.

Gauri Khan shared the news on social media “#GauriKhanDesign‘s refurbished this office …a quarantine zone providing essentials and services to those in need. We must stand together and stand strong in this fight against #Covid19” she captioned.

“Making space for each other. #MeerFoundation has effectively transformed the 4-storey private office building, offered by @gaurikhan and @iamsrk, into quarantine quarters under @my_bmc’s guidance. In this fight, we stand together stronger than ever before” she added.

Recently the actor had provided 25,000 Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) kits to the health care workers, who are fighting this battle against coronavirus from frontline.

Meer is a philanthropic foundation founded by Shah Rukh Khan in October, 2013 in Mumbai. The foundation works to rehabilitate burn and acid attack survivors and empower women in India. The organisation is named after Shah Rukh Khan’s father, Late ‘Meer Taj Mohammed Khan’.
