Priyanka Chopra recently kick started the 15th edition of Blenders Pride Fashion Tour by walking the ramp for the event. Priyanka who is also the brand representative for Blenders Pride, looked stunning in an off shoulder black saree gown which had a sheer drape around the shoulders. She accessorized her look with a broad ornamented belt at the waist, and wore bold statement earrings with winged eyeliner and retro hairstyle.
Applauding the fashion event, Priyanka said: “This is the 15th edition of the Blenders Pride Fashion Tour, and I have been fortunate enough to be with them for ten years. This is my one decade anniversary as well. What started as an idea to showcase Indian fashion has today become one of the premier events in this country. It’s a testament of the brand’s passion, commitment, and loyalty to promote Indian fashion.”
Paying her tribute to Wendell Rodricks, Priyanka said, “It’s only apt on a night like this in the presence of so many luminaries from the Indian fashion industry that we remember Wendell Rodricks. He was a pioneer. He was a visionary of Indian fashion and he will always and forever be missed.”
The tour concluded in Mumbai on Saturday in a splendid show based on a theme ‘The Pride of India’ which showcased the designs of 14 acclaimed Indian designers. Anju Modi, JJ Valaya, Raghavendra Rathore, Suneet Varma, Gaurav Gupta, Rajesh Pratap Singh, Abraham & Thakore, Monisha Jaising, Namrata Joshipura, Rohit Gandhi & Rahul Khanna, Anamika Khanna, Manish Malhotra, Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla and Ashish Soni were the participating designers.
