As we write this news, our hands tremble, there are tears in the eyes and somehow somewhere something feels not so good. A feeling which cannot be described in words.
Today the nation woke upto the news of sudden demise of a brilliant actor, an uncommon man and someone who will always be remembered for his extraordinary talent and humor, Mr. Irfan Khan. A man who needs no introduction in Bollywood and Hollywood, he was someone who was always talked about his genuine, spontaneous and natural flare for acting. But not only this, he was also an inspiration to many people and is known to be one of the most humble actors of our times.
Irfan was diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumour in 2018 and had been fighting this illness for a long time. He got treated for the same in London and came back to India to shoot for Angrezi Medium. The actor was admitted in Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital with a colon infection yesterday, and passed away this morning.
“It’s saddening that this day, we have to bring forward the news of him passing away. Irrfan was a strong soul, someone who fought till the very end and always inspired everyone who came close to him. After having been struck by lightning in 2018 with the news of a rare cancer, he took life soon after as it came and he fought the many battles that came with it. Surrounded by his love, his family for whom he most cared about, he left for heaven abode, leaving behind truly a legacy of his own. We all pray and hope that he is at peace. And to resonate and part with his words he had said, ‘As if I was tasting life for the first time, the magical side of it’,” Khan’s spokesperson said in a statement.

There is not much we can say or write to justify your great persona on and off the screen. We just assure you that you will be dearly missed by each one of us, and will be always remembered. RIP Irfan Sir!
