PM Modi Launches India’s First Seaplane Service From Ahmedabad To Kevadia, Gujarat

To mark the 145th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, PM Modi on Saturday, inaugurated a seaplane service from the Statue of Unity in Kevadia to Sabarmati riverfront in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

The 19-seater seaplane is operated by spicejet and will be able to accommodate 12 passengers. The tickets will cost Rs 4800 per person. The entire journey of 200 km from Kevadia to Ahmedabad will be covered in around 45 minutes.
