National Tourism day is observed in India on every 25th January. Its celebrated to promote local tourism in India.

India has a rich and diverse cultural heritage. Along with it, India also has a diverse geographical spread including desserts, mountains, beaches, snow, rain and what not. This day is celebrated to make people aware of this fact, and to remind them that we have got so much to explore in our own country.
