As you age, a few beauty essentials and products become really important for you to incorporate in your daily routine. Well, using a toner is definitely one of them. A toner works in many ways which is super important for the ageing and dull skin, and here is why you should use it religiously in your daily routine….
Minimizing pores– The first and foremost idea of using a toner is to help minimize open pores as they result in problems like blackheads and whiteheads. Open pores are generally a sign of ageing and can make your skin look worse. Using a toner helps minimizing the pores making your skin look flawless and young.
Keeps the skin firm– To look young its important to have a firm skin so that it doesn’t sags. A sagging skin will definitely wrinkle and you will end up looking old.
It cleanses– A good toner removes dirt and traces of makeup from the pores which no soap or face wash can do. So you can say that it cleanses your skin to the core and is therefore helpful in fighting acne and excess oil.
But avoid using toners with alcohol, artificial fragrances and parabens as they can try your skin too quickly and are not recommended for a healthy skin. Instead opt for toners with natural ingredients like rose, chamomile, witch hazel, aloe vera and tea tree oil to name a few.
Also use toners according to your skin tone, like if you have an oily skin then look out for ingredients like tea tree oil which is excellent for oily and acne prone skin. Likewise for sensitive skin use a toner with aloe vera. And aloe vera, rose water, cucumbers are great for dry skin.
