One of the most popular embroidery styles is the Banjara or the Tribal embroideries of kutch, Gujarat known as Rabiri embroidery. The color combinations and the burst of colors used with a combination of different accessories like mirror, kauris, beads, coins, Tassels gives this embroidery style a distinctive style of its own. Mostly thick and coarse threads with matte finish are used for this embroidery in different neon colors. Different stitches like chain stitch, Blanket stitch, Couching are used in one piece to differentiate between designs running in one product. Different colors are used for different stitches too. Inserts of mirror can be seen in most of the products of this embroidery style. Earlier home furnishings like wall decorator, table runners, bed sheets etc were embroidered in this style. But nowadays accessories, Shoes, Bags, Apparel are all done in this style. Bags embroidered in this style can look very stylish and chic. Matching it up with your plain single color clothes will make them stand out perfectly. One can also choose from different bag patterns too.
