8 Dishes You Can Prepare In Your Appe Pan As It Is Not Just For Preparing Appe

Appe pan is one moulded pan which can be used for preparing so many different dishes, but all we do is prepare just that one dish for which it is famous for. Appe pan is also famous for using less oil as just a drop of oil or ghee is more than enough to cook the food. So if you are someone who always wonders how to make the most of this pan then worry not, as preparing these everyday recipes will be a lot more easier if you use this pan smartly.

Dhokla– Now the dhokla will not have the regular square shape but the round dhokla’s will also serve the purpose as they will taste the same. Also you can try making dhokla sandwich or dhokla with stuffing in this pan.

Choco lava cake– How about preparing sweets in this pan. Well its easy to make mini cupcakes or choco lave cake bites in this pan. Just grease the mould with oil and pour the batter uptil half, place a chocolate piece in the middle and fill the rest of the mould with batter to cover the chocolate.

Litti Choka– Imagine preparing litti for litti choka in this mould. Now your litti won’t stick to each other as they can be placed separately using this trick.

Hara Bhara Kabab– Well actually any kebab or cutlet can be made in this pan, it’s just that the shape of the cutlets will be round like pop ups. For example beetroot tikki, dahi kabab, etc. can be easily made on this pan.

Pakora– Regular plain besan pakora or onion pakora’s can also be made in this pan.

Vegetable egg muffin– Just prepare the egg batter with lots of veggie of your choice like chopped mushroom, spinach or parsley, onion, tomato, sweet corn, green onions basically whatever you like and pour them in the greased mould and enjoy these fantastic veggie loaded egg muffins. You can also sprinkle the cheese on the top or add it in the batter itself.

Mini pizza balls– You can prepare pizza cups by adding pizza sauce, chopped veggies and cheese to the bread pieces. Just cut bread into a round shape using a katori or a steel glass.

Dahi bhalla– Instead of deep frying the batter you can prepare the bhalla balls in this pan in just few drops of oil.
