We all know Akshay Kumar as a fitness freak and a disciplined actor. The way he lives his life with full discipline and grace is actually not easy for a film star, as you have so many commitments for films, promotions and what not.
But a strict disciplined life and time management are his great traits, and he makes sure that the people on the sets and the one related to his work also respect and follow the same.
We have seen him supporting all the right issues and the latest one just wins our heart, an issue which was needed to be addressed from a very long time.
Recently we saw a video where he urged people for helping out the families of the soldiers who lost their lives while protecting the country. His words were so inspiring that everyone wanted to connect instantly, but a connecting link was missing.
He himself has contributed a lot towards this cause by recently donating Rs 1.09 crore to 11 families of CRPF men who were killed in a Naxal ambush in Sukma. As a result, an online website and a mobile app named ‘BharatkeVeer‘ was launched by him and Union Minister Rajnath Singh during ‘Shaurya diwas’ celebration at Vigan Bhawan in New Delhi on Sunday.
On the occasion Akshay Kumar said, “This website has been made exactly in two and a half months. About three months ago, this idea came in my mind, while watching a documentary film on terrorists, which showed how terror leaders financially support the families of the terrorist who carry out terror acts.”
“Everybody wants to connect to people in uniform in their pain. It was a small dream and to fulfill this dream, our government really helped us. I want to thank everybody with my folded hands. My father was in Army and I am here as his son. Thank-you everyone,” he added.
Through the portal `bharatkeveer.gov.in‘, people can donate up to Rs 15 lakh to the families of martyred jawans and officers of central armed police forces (CAPFs). A commendable job done indeed, we respect you Akshay for the same.
