Reliance Industries Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani’s son Akash Ambani is all set to marry Shloka Mehta, youngest daughter of diamond magnate Russell Mehta.
Their Mehndi ceremony was held at the Ambani residence in Mumbai on Wednesday evening. The event was graced by many well known faces.
While Shloka wore a heavily embroidered navy blue and cream lehanga by Anamika Khanna, Akash choose to keep it simple by wearing a white kurta pyjama.
Priyanka Chopra attended the ceremony with rumored beau Nick Jonas. She looked beautiful in a heavily embroidered cream-coloured Tarun Tahiliani sari.
Soon after the ceremony she took on the social media to congratulate the couple. “Congratulations Akash and Shloka! Such a beautiful ceremony. Mehendi hai rachne wali. Love you both. Pre, pre engagement party,” is what she wrote besides sharing few pics from the ceremony.
While the engagement is on Saturday, the wedding date is yet to be finalized. We wish the couple a blissful life ahead.
