Recently Forbes released the list of the world’s 10 highest paid actors in 2019 and interestingly Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has secured a fourth place on the list with an earning of USD 65 million (approx Rs 466 crore) in June 2018. He is also the only Bollywood actor, and the only non Hollywood actor along with Jackie Chaan to feature on the Forbes list of world’s 10 highest-paid actors. The list includes the timeline from June 2018 to June 2019.
Hollywood star Dwayne ‘Rock’ Johnson tops the list collecting $89.4 million between June 1, 2018, and June 1, 2019. He will also earn an upfront salary of up to $23.5 million for ‘Jumanji: The Next Level’.
Australian actor Chris Hemsworth or Thor as we all know, stood at second position with an earning of $76.4 million, followed by ‘Iron Man’ Robert Downey Jr. at number 3 with $66 million. Forbes added that Robert Downey Jr. gets USD 20 million upfront and nearly 8 percent of the pool for his role as Iron Man.
