Embroideries on bottoms are trending hot since sometime now. Be it Churidaars, Pants, Plazzos, Salwars, we can see an embroidered version of it everywhere, from ramp to real life. You can use almost any sort of embroidery like zardosi, patchwork, handwork but remember to put lining underneath your embroidered pieces otherwise they will hurt you.
Also do not try to contrast too much in terms of colors, and embroideries in case if both the upper and bottom are embroidered. Do not worry if you are keeping only bottom as embroidered. Try using heavy material like Dupion silk, Raw silk or Velvet for the pants if embroidered, as they are best for taking heavy embroideries. Similarly use crepe or cotton for churidaars. You can also use sheer fabrics or net, as embroideries look best on them.
