Brocade is one fabric which can be easily used to create dressy winter wear. It is an idle winter wear fabric which looks so chic and elegant and also keeps you warm when lined properly from inside. And the best way to use it is to have at least one brocade overcoat in your wardrobe. A mid calf length is probably the best length for this kind of an overcoat, but you can choose your length according to how you want to wear it. Here are a few ideas….
Pair it with satin pants– Match the brocade overcoat with something on the similar lines. For example you can pick a satin or a lurex pant to complete the look. This way the sheen of the brocade fabric will match the texture of the satin pants. But for a day look use matte finish fabrics like cotton or Khadi to pair the overcoat with.
Co ordinate set– You can also go for matching brocade sets which look absolutely chic and gorgeous for winter dressing. Crop top and palazzo– A palazzo set can also be paired with a nice palazzo set. But this style will look good when you have a A line overcoat, or an overcoat with panels which has a little flare at the bottom. This way the palazzo silhouette will remain in a good shape.
