PM Modi on Wednesday shared a message on his twitter handle wishing everyone a Happy New Year 2020.
“Have a wonderful 2020! May this year be filled with joy and prosperity. May everyone be healthy and may everyone’s aspirations be fulfilled,” PM Modi tweeted.
On Tuesday, he also re-tweeted a video that compiled what the country achieved in 2019 and what it hopes to achieve this year.
“Lovely compilation! Covers quite a lot of the progress we achieved in 2019. Here is hoping 2020 marks the continuation of people powered efforts to transform India and empower the lives of 130 crore Indians,” PM Modi said. He said this in response to a tweet that posted a song compiling the achievements of his government in 2019.
Besides him, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu also took to Twitter and wrote, “I convey my warm greetings and best wishes to all our citizens on the advent of the New Year 2020.
The New Year is a time for new beginnings.
“On this New Year, let us resolve to be kinder, more compassionate and considerate human beings. Let us pledge to do our best to realize our true potential, as individuals first and then collectively, as a nation” he added.
