Goa– When it comes to have a fun filled and adventurous honeymoon, Goa tops the list. Its sun kissed beaches has so much to offer, plus the lively ambiance keeps up your spirit to explore more. The best is that you can hire a scooty or a car/jeep on rent and just go on a pleasant drive with your love. If you like to party then nightlife is great or you can also enjoy a lovely candlelight dinner on the beach side. With so many beaches to explore it also offers water sports.
The main season starts from October goes on till Feb-March when more of foreign tourists are expected. Though North Goa is little crowded with lively atmosphere, South Goa offers quite and relaxing time for the two of you.
Shimla/Manali– One of the oldest known honeymoon destinations which will never loose its charm. Known as the summer capital of India, Shimla is great to visit all year round and the best part is that you can take a heritage toy train from Kalka to reach there which runs all year round. In summers its cool and if you are lucky you can even experience few showers which makes the weather more romantic. In winters its even more better with snow all over. You can also visit surrounding tourist places like Naldera and kufri which again has adventure sports during winters. You can extend your tour for Manali which is well connected by road from Shimla. Manali receives heavy snowfall during winters and is a great option if you are planning your visit during this time. Do visit solang valley for a good view of the snow covered mountains and for various adventure sports. There are also few historic places to visit.
Andaman and Nicobar– Truly an amazing place with breathtaking clear water beaches with underwater diving possibilities and lush green forests. It’s relatively not so explored, but now people are taking it as an option and believe us you wont be dissapointed. Havelock Island is one of the most famous of all the islands there and offer breathtaking view, splendid beaches and diving.
Munnar, Kerala– The land known as ‘God’s Own Country’ has various popular tourist places, but Munnar would be perfect for a romantic honeymoon. Munnar has hills, lake and is famous for its tea gardens. A quiet place where you can spend quality time with the loved one.
Gulmarg and Srinagar Kashmir– A popular skiing destination in India, Gulmarg is a paradise on earth and visit it after snowfall as the snow covered mountains look beautiful. Srinagar on the other hand being the capital has more shopping options and the famous Dal lake is also a great place for boating.
Darjeeling– A beautiful hill station in north- east of India which is again famous for tea plantations. Admist romancing in tea gardens you can also take a ride in the oldest toy train in India, which also falls under the prestigious UNESCO world heritage list .
