Taapsee Pannu Unconventional Saree Looks

Whether its acting or her choice of scripts and films, Taapsee Pannu knows how to be different from others.

Same goes for her fashion sense and is evidently seen in her choices of sarees.

Here is how she wore the six yard drape with a difference…

Pant saree– Seen here in Urvashi Kaur, these loose pants are something unconventional to pair with a saree.

The half saree look goes well with the pant and crop top and adds a fusion touch to the attire. Oxford shoes instead of heels is an interesting addition and antique silver earrings adds a desi swag to the look.

Mermaid saree– A pastel pink mermaid saree on plain and textured net is something which every girl would want to try. We cannot imagine a saree without pleats but the front net volume makes it unique and the pleats go all over till the back, giving this dress a girlish look. The half and half palla in contrast color and textures adds a perfect contrast to the dress.

Unconventional Palla style– The skirt style bottom has pleats at the hemline instead of being at the waist. But what makes this style totally unique is its palla draping style, as the palla is secured with an off shoulder blouse at the chest. A textured net fabric adds a short cape style covering over the blouse giving the saree a different look.

Saree with a dupatta-Though double palla is in fashion but this saree style shows you that you can wear your saree with an embroidered dupatta as well. Taapsee is wearing an embroidered saree with a pair of fitted trouser and a long length top with frill at the neckline. The contrast color embroidered dupatta adds an elegant look to the attire.

Peplum blouse-A handloom saree well worn with a long peplum blouse on tissue fabric.
