Simple Nail Art Ideas With Metallic Foil

Classic Black and Gold– If black is your favorite color, then this is one of the simplest designs of foil to try on. Black and gold compliment each other, and are high on contrast so their striking contrast is very much visible and looks balanced at the same time. If you do not like bold lines then go in for thin stripes of foil like below.

Double color– Use of double shades from the same color family gives a balanced look to the art, whereas if you love high contrast you can go in for other color combinations like blue and red, Red and black and so on. Use of both the colors on single nails and then sealing it through a stripe of foil makes it interesting. Use the shades in opposite design on consecutive fingers.

The monochromatic look– Pick up a shade for your nail art and then go 1 and 2 shades up or down from the basic color and pick up 2 more colors. Divide the nail into 3 parts and paint it into these three shades. Divide them by placing foil lines.

The single shade matte effect– Matte nail paints look very nice as they give a fabulous finishing. Paint the nails in any matte shade and apply a layer of matching glossy nail paint on the upper part of the nail. Now highlight the division by a foil strip.

Nude shades– Combine foil art with nude shades for a subtle look. Thin stripes used in vertical and horizontal directions make an interesting design.

Rainbow Metallic stripes– Apart from silver and gold, the metallic foil stripes comes in rainbow colors too. Use them with light shades for a subtle look and fuse them with dark shades for a contrast look.

Transparent Nail paint– A coat of transparent nail paint highlighted with foil stripes and golden glitter for a day look.

Minimalist Single finger look– Single finger can have multiple stripes in foil for a simpler version.

Playing with Matte and glitter– A perfect combination of a matte finish nail paint with a contrast metallic shade.
