Chutney Recipes For Summers

Who doesn’t likes to have chutney with a good meal during summers.

It’s not only tasty but has amazing health properties too. It is good for digestive system and helps in keeping the body cool during summers.

Here are few lip smacking and tasty chutney recipes for summers…..

Mint Coriander Chutney Take 1 cup fresh mint leaves and 1 cup fresh coriander in a chutney grinder. To this add few green chilies, a piece of ginger, lemon juice, black salt and a pinch of jeera powder.

Grind everything together. Green Chutney is ready, you can use it for sandwiches, paratha’s or in general with everything. It is highly digestive therefore you should include it everyday diet.

If you like it sweet and tangy then add little bit of sugar while grinding. you can also skip lemon juice and add raw mango for tanginess.

Sweet Mango Chutney A sweet and sour chutney made with ripe mangoes. It goes well with dal and rice, idli and dosa etc. Take 2 sweet ripe mangoes, peel and dice them. In a grinder take 1 cup fresh grated coconut, to this add few red chillies, few garlic cloves, a small piece of tamarind, salt and little jaggery. Grind everything and take out in a bowl and mix the diced sweet ripe mangoes to it. The mango chutney is read to be served.

Tangy Mango Chutney Take 2 semi ripe mangoes, peel and finely chop them. Now take some oil in a pan and add panch phoran masala and ginger to it. Fry for a minte and add the chopped mangoes and red chilli powder, garam masala and hing to it. Mix well for few minutes and then add salt and powdered jaggery, stir for few minutes and it’s ready. For panch phoran masala take equal mix of cumin, fennel, mustard, nigella and fenugreek seeds.
