“This Sunday, thinking of giving up my social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & YouTube. Will keep you all posted,”tweeted Mr. Modi.
Very soon trends like #NoModiNoTwitter and #NoSir started on social media platforms where people urged him not to do so.
But the very next day, On Tuesday, 3rd March, PM Modi broke suspense over his tweet and said he will give away his social media accounts to women whose life and work inspire everyone, so that their stories ignite motivation in millions.
The tweet also asked people to share such inspirational stories using #SheInspiresUs.
